OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME:
To provide technical support to the Ministry of Health on Hepatitis program to monitor the implementation of the National Hepatitis action plan
SUMMARY OF ASSIGNED DUTIES:
Under the direct supervision of HIV team Leader, and in close collaboration and coordination with the Ministry of Health and partners the incumbent will:
Assist the process of database management for monitoring hepatitis programme from routine report: Hepatitis C treatment (DAA), early detection of hepatitis B and C routine surveillance.
Ensure accurate and consistent inputting data received from sub national level into hepatitis and Gastroenterology database (SIHEPI).
Perform basic data analysis and produce reports in various formats including graphs, charts, etc. as required as well disseminate the dissemination of data report based on the consultation with Sub-Directorate Hepatitis and Gastroenterology.
Provide additional updates and data analysis as required.
Provide technical support to Ministry of Health on the specific data required from them in relation to the different indicators monitored by Ministry of Health (telephone support or travel to other offices) as required.
Train Hepatitis Programme staff at Sub-National level on the use of the database.
Conduct the field visit to the selected provinces which need capacity strengthening and capacity building in data entry and basic analysis areas.
Undertake any other duties/responsibilities as assigned by supervisor as required

Understanding of data entry, data analysis and producing reports
Education Qualifications:
Essential: A first degree in Public health focusing on epidemiology or biostatistics
Desirable: Master’s degree in public health
Experience:
Essential:
At least two years of professional work experience in the data entry and analysis
At least two years of experience in working with the hepatitis program
At least one-year experience working with the Ministry of Health or provincial or district health office
Desirable:
Experience working in the UN or other international development organization
Languages:
Expert knowledge of written and spoken English and native language skills in Bahasa Indonesia
Other Skills (e.g. IT):
Work is performed in normal working environment.
Computer literacy: Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
