The Netherlands Red Cross is looking for a Technical Coordinator (TC) for the coordination and formulation of a full proposal to strengthen local communities resilience to disaster risk, climate change and environmental degradation – Sudan. The Technical Coordinator will be based in Khartoum with travels to Kassala, River Nile and Northern States. The Strengthening Local Communities Resilience to Climate Change in Sudan" is a program funded by the European Commission (EC) under priority two "Increasing resilience to climate-related stresses and shocks" of the Global Climate Change Alliance+ (GCCA+) flagship programme which is part of the EU Global Public Goods and Challenges programme. The European Union Delegation (EUD) has offered the possibility to apply for this grant to the RCRC Movement partners. We are looking for a candidate to coordinate and develop the proposal in close cooperation with the EU and Red Cross Red Crescent partners for the period of 15 January – 28 February (in total an exercise of 30 days in 5 weeks).
